BBS was bought off Eppo by the Waluew Family. Most know of them as the
bodyboarding family of the Gold Coast. The store was bought so Thorpe and his
brother’s would have something to inherit when they were the right age. It just
so happens BBS has changed the lives of many.
Given jobs to some of the local Bodyboarders, sponsored local contests, supported
riders and of course supplied many bodyboarders with the product they desire.
